Eyo Itam Eyo is a Lecturer in Banking and Finance at the University of Calabar, Nigeria. Prior to joining the academia from 2010, Mr. Eyo was an Accountant 2 at the Bursary Department in the same University where he was responsible for the preparation of institutional budget for some arms of the University. His love for knowledge, research and knowledge sharing had him move over to Academics in October, 2011. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Banking and Finance and Finance, respectively from the University of Calabar. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate.

Mr. Eyo has tutored and mentored Undergrads and Diploma Students in Financial Management, Business Mathematics, Bank Management, Monetary Theory and Policy, Research Methods in Banking and Finance, Comparative Banking, Entrepreneurial Theory and Development, and Elements of Finance.

His research interests are in the areas of corporate finance, capital formation, corporate governance, monetary theory and policy, banking and entrepreneurship. Eyo has published in various journals and presented his works in conferences and currently the projects coordinator of the Department of Banking and Finance, University of Calabar.
