I am a Full Professor of History Department at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University since 2005. In 1998, I was awarded the degree of candidate of historical sciences (PhD in History) at Ivane Javakhishvili Institute of History and Ethnology.
My work experiences: since 2011- to present, Senior Scientific-worker, Department of Language, Literature and History, Tskhum-Abkhazia Academy of Sciences (Georgia); since 2018 – Executive Director of Teaching-Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Humanities; since 2008 - Member of New York Academy of Science; since 2007 - Real Member and Academician of the International Academy of Social-Economic; since 2006 - Member of the Editorial Board of the Annual Transaction “Relationships of Georgia with the Countries of Europe and America” of American and European Scientific Research Institute of Georgia; in 2004 – 2010: Rector, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University (Georgia); in 1998-2005: Docent, Department of World History, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University; in 1998-2004: Head, Department of World History, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.
